Oliver Heron to join the team for 2025 FJC Campaign
We’re thrilled to announce that Oliver Heron will be joining the Jamsport Racing team for the 2025 season! After a successful and varied seven-year racing career, Oliver is ready to take on a new challenge and will be competing in the Fiesta Junior Championship this season.
Oliver’s journey in motorsport began at the age of 7 when he started racing in Micro F2s. Over the years, he has competed in a variety of formulas, including Stoxcarts and Ministox, where he has earned a reputation as a highly skilled and dedicated driver. Throughout his career, Oliver has racked up several championship wins, with notable successes including being named the GMP Points Champion and the Junior Stoxkarts Scottish Champion in 2024.
Needing a fresh challenge, Oliver set his sights on the Fiesta Junior Championship. His commitment and talent were recognised in October 2024 when he had the opportunity to race at Silverstone, where he earned a podium finish in the MK6 category, a result he is immensely proud of. This performance has set the stage for what promises to be an exciting next step in his motorsport journey.
“I am absolutely delighted to announce that I will be part of the Jamsport 2025 race team,” Oliver said. “It’s an incredible opportunity to join such a professional and supportive team, and I’m really excited to see what we can achieve together this season. Competing in the Fiesta Junior Championship is a big step for me, and I can’t wait to get out there, put everything I’ve learned to the test, and show everyone what I can do.”
Jamie Going, Team Principal of Jamsport Racing, shared his excitement: "Oliver has proven himself to be an incredibly talented and committed driver, and we are thrilled to have him on board for the 2025 season. His results in Stoxcarts and his podium finish at Silverstone demonstrate that he has the drive and potential to succeed in the Fiesta Junior Championship. We’re excited to support Oliver as he continues to progress in his motorsport career and look forward to a successful season ahead."
