Henry Howarth Joins Jamsport Racing for 2025 MINI CHALLENGE JCW Sport Campaign

We’re thrilled to welcome Henry Howarth back to the team for another season! This year, he is taking the next step in his racing career by moving up to the MINI CHALLENGE JCW Sport class.

Henry’s motorsport journey with Jamsport Racing started just two years ago, when he participated in his very first development day. Since then, his progress has been nothing short of remarkable. After showing great potential, Henry quickly became a valued member of the team. Over the past two years, his hard work, dedication, and passion for racing have seen him consistently improve.

The highlight of Henry's 2024 season was undoubtedly securing the Am Class title in the Airtec Motorsport Fiesta ST240 Championship, a well-deserved recognition of his growth and skill on track. His success in this highly competitive series is the perfect springboard for this year’s move into the MINI CHALLENGE JCW Sport class, a step that will provide him with even more opportunities to showcase his talent. We firmly believe this is the ideal progression for Henry as he continues to climb the motorsport ladder, and we are eager to see what he can achieve in the upcoming season.

Team Principal Jamie Going shared his excitement: “I really enjoy working with Henry—he’s a fantastic driver and a great part of the team. I’m pleased to have him back for another season. He performed exceptionally well last year and has already developed so much. This year will be a new challenge for him, racing in a highly competitive championship, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how he rises to the occasion.”

Henry Howarth added: “After a really successful 2024 season in the Airtec Fiesta ST240 Championship and winning the Am Class honours, I’m excited to step up into the BTCC paddock and the JCW Sport class of the MINI CHALLENGE UK Championship with Jamsport Racing. My goal is to push myself even further and improve on last year’s success. It feels incredible to reflect on how far I’ve come since my first development day just two years ago. To be part of this incredible team and see how much I’ve learned and grown in that time is amazing. I’m delighted to remain part of the Jamsport Racing family—they are an amazing team, and I can’t wait to work closely with them to fight for the front of the grid.”
