Archie Johnson Signs with Jamsport Racing for 2025 MINI CHALLENGE JCW Sport Campaign

We are excited to confirm that Archie Johnson will be returning to Jamsport Racing for the 2025 season, where he will compete in the MINI CHALLENGE JCW Sport class.

After a highly successful 2024 season in the Airtec Motorsport Fiesta ST240 Championship, where he finished runner-up in the Am Class and 7th overall, Archie is now ready to take on the challenges of the MINI CHALLENGE. His impressive performance last year, which included multiple podium finishes, has set him up perfectly for this next step in his motorsport career. Archie’s consistent commitment to growth and improvement has made him a standout driver, and we are excited to see him race at an even higher level in 2025.

Archie’s motorsport journey began just a couple of years ago, when he made his debut in the Fiesta ST240 Championship in 2023, despite still being eligible for the Fiesta Junior category. This decision allowed him to gain invaluable experience competing against more experienced drivers. Returning in 2024, Archie came back determined to have a successful season, finishing 2nd in the Am Class and making a significant impact with his performance.

Alongside his racing achievements, Archie has also played an integral role as part of our scholarship team, aswell as working closely with our sister company, Jamsport Media over the past couple of years to develop his media skills and online presence.

Reflecting on the upcoming season, Archie shared: “I am looking forward to working with the team at Jamsport Racingfor a 3rd season. The progress made so far has enabled me to make the step into the MINI CHALLENGE Championship. I would like to thank the team and my sponsors for their continued support and belief in my ability. I can’t wait for the season to start and gain more experience, and hopefully, achieve more podium finishes.”

Team Principal Jamie Going commented: “Archie had a fantastic season in 2024, and we’re all excited to see him step up to the MINI CHALLENGE JCW Sport class in 2025. He’s shown incredible dedication, both on and off the track, and we’re looking forward to seeing his continued growth. It’s been a pleasure to watch Archie develop, and I’m eager to see what he can achieve this season.”
